They don’t get much more rare that this beast, a The 1967 Shelby GT500 SuperSnake. Just how rare is one of these you ask? Well, a Shelby Cobra SuperSnake recently sold for $5Mil and was build number 1 of 2, and this thing is even rarer. That’s right, it’s the only one ever to have existed. Why the owner decided to chuck it up on eBay is beyond me, but it was certainly created a lot of attention.

Featuring a 427ci V8 and 520 horsepower on tap, is a wonder why more of these weren’t made as I’m sure there would have been many hands up of potential buyers. Oh, and it has a top speed of around 170 mpg, which is pretty impressive considering were taking about the 60’s here.
