The 2007 Targa Tasmania rally will see 25% of the course changed from the 2006 season. Along with subtle alterations which have enhanced previous favorite courses, the major changes lie with eleven major stage changes or additions.
The international tarmac classic will be run over 5 full days of tough flat out racing which will see competitors battle the clock on 43 closed competition stages.
“Not since Targa Tasmania’s 10th anniversary in 2000 has the course changed this dramatically,” explains Targa Event Director Mark Perry.
“This course takes in some of the world’s most challenging tarmac rally roads as well as branching out to parts of our beautiful island currently untouched by the event.”
