We were quite surprised with the number for Street Fords supporters floating around at this years Summernats, many “Hello, I’m off the forums” were heard amongst the aural symphony that was Summernats.
Chances are if you were there for the entire event you would have seen the film production crew running amuck, annoying drivers and spectators in the bid to get hot and juicy footage for the Summernats segment on the up and coming Street Fords DVD.
For those wandering around near the back of the grandstands would have been confronted by Street Commodores and Street Fords first Summernats trade stand selling tons of merchandise ranging from playing cards to back issues. By far the most popular item for sale was the Street Commodores and Street Fords show bags consisting of a T-shirt, chamois, playing cards, poster, sticker and a back issue for only $15. It’s little wonder why these babies were flying out the door!
